Meet the Artist

My interest in photography began at an early age when my uncle, an avid photographer himself, gave me an old 35mm camera. As my uncle developed his own black and white prints,
I followed his interest in thatmedium. Family pets became my models as I learned to use light and energy to create interesting images.

I moved on to translate the same factors of light and energy to color photography. Trips to England and Spain as a teenager expanded my curiosity of picture taking.
I found I could document travel and history as seen through my own lens. It was exciting to use my photographs to recount my experiences with family and friends back home.

That’s what I love most about photography—turning a visual memory, from my mind, into a lasting picture that many can cherish.
Photography documents history from a specific time and place…and in doing so you see life through the eyes of the photographer.

A few years ago, while working as a real estate photographer, I began experimenting with image editing. Ifound I could transform my photos look like paintings.
I fell in love with the artistic qualities I could inject tomy photography through editing. I’ve spent years refining my own originality to images old and new.
Printing my images on canvas provides a painting-like art form that everyone can afford and enjoy in their own homes and offices.

People ask if I have a favorite photograph.
Honestly, I don’t. There is something about each picture that I love. Whether it’s the subject, the colors, or the textures—each picture comes to life on many levels.
My goal is to depict the peace, tranquility, and beauty that I see through my camera lens. I hope to share those qualities with others through my artwork.

Thank you for your interest and consideration
